ABB is hiring an onsite R&D Associate Engineer for its Medium Voltage GIS team in China, focusing on Ring Main Unit products. The role supports mechanical and electrical design, design analysis and optimization, prototype development, testing coordination, technical documentation, and design reviews under mentorship. Candidates should have a master's degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering, knowledge of mechanical design or high-voltage and insulation technology, familiarity with engineering materials and manufacturing processes, proficiency with SolidWorks, Creo, and FEM/simulation tools, and fluency in English.
