Description
ABB is hiring an Electrical Product Development Engineer for its Smart Buildings Division in Hyderabad. The role reports to the R&D Department Lead and focuses on R&D projects for the ELSB NEMA product line, including product design, testing, analysis, root-cause investigation, qualification, certification, simulation, and compliance. The engineer will interface with engineering, test, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and supplier teams. The position requires an electrical or mechanical engineering degree, at least five years of electrical product design and development experience, Ansys and CAD proficiency, panelboard and circuit-breaker knowledge, and familiarity with high-volume manufacturing processes.
