Refeyn is hiring a System Engineer to design, build, troubleshoot, and integrate next-generation optical microscopy and single-molecule instrumentation involving lasers, electro-optics, 3D positioners, CMOS detectors, and microfluidics. The role covers technical specifications, architecture, data analysis, prototype development, customer-facing specifications, and contributions to the company’s intellectual property. Candidates should have an engineering degree or equivalent experience, optics or electro-optics expertise, and data-analysis skills in C/C++, Python, or MATLAB. The role offers a base salary of £40,000 to £50,000, hybrid working, and other benefits.
