Howmet Fastening Systems is hiring an R&D Machinist in its Kingston, New York fastener installation tooling manufacturing facility. The role supports new product development by machining pre-production components, modifying products for special applications, assembling and testing experimental equipment, troubleshooting, recommending manufacturing improvements, fabricating repair parts, and assisting with production fixes. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, five years of experience with manual and CNC lathes, mills, and grinding, and U.S. person status; hydraulic, pneumatic, and CAM programming experience are preferred. The annual salary is $75,000-$85,000, with medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
