Opsydia is hiring a full-time R&D Manager to lead and coordinate research and development for its laser-processing platform. The role owns the R&D roadmap, prioritises and delivers technical projects, manages resources and risks, supports IP and customer-facing activities, and leads and develops the R&D team. Candidates should have significant experience in scientific, engineering, or product development teams, a strong background in photonics, optics, laser processing, precision systems or related technologies, and a degree in Physics, Engineering, Photonics or a related discipline. The role offers hybrid and flexible working, with hands-on system and collaboration time expected, and a salary of £65,000 per year plus experience-dependent variation.
