Description
Destinus is hiring an Experimental Physics Engineer to design, build, commission, and operate experimental rigs for measuring velocities, pressures, shock, temperature, and optical behavior in solid rocket motor and pyrotechnic research. The role involves integrating lasers, optics, sensors, electronics, and high-speed data acquisition systems; developing test plans and calibration procedures; analyzing experimental data; and collaborating with propulsion, pyrotechnics, structures, and test teams. The position requires a relevant master’s degree, at least two years of experimental physics or diagnostics experience, optical and laser measurement expertise, electronics and data acquisition skills, Python data analysis, and willingness to travel to Destinus sites in Switzerland up to 20%.
