Description
Numat is hiring an early-career R&D Process Development Engineer in Chicago, Illinois to help develop and scale new materials into robust commercial processes. The role is hands-on and experimental, focusing on designing and running experiments and design of experiments (DOEs), analyzing process and product variability, supporting pilot spunbond, meltblown, and lamination equipment, documenting findings for technology transfer, and managing sample/data workflows. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related physical science, preferably some R&D experience, familiarity with statistics and data-analysis tools, and it is not eligible for immigration support or visa sponsorship.
