Description
The R&D Process Technician supports the development, transition, and integration of new products and process platforms from R&D into production manufacturing. The role involves hands-on operation and maintenance of R&D pilot process equipment, troubleshooting, installation, safety and environmental compliance, equipment records, pilot experiments, reporting, inventory management, safety audits, process hazard analyses, project planning, and participation in cross-functional R&D and 5S teams. An associate’s degree or mechanical certification and strong mechanical aptitude are required, while two or more years of machine maintenance or pilot prototyping experience is preferred.
