Description
The Advanced Composite Prototyping Engineer collaborates with R&D engineers and technicians to develop, fabricate, and ship prototypes from advanced ceramic and metal matrix composite materials. The role covers materials processing, machining, equipment programming, thermal processing, design for manufacturability, vendor and customer interfacing, prototype transfer to manufacturing, documentation, training, and continuous-improvement activities. It requires a BS in Engineering or Science or an AAS with relevant experience, is on-site, and follows a first-shift, 40-hour-per-week schedule.
