Description
Maritime Fusion is hiring an R&D Technician to build and test fusion-relevant hardware in a laboratory and shop environment. The role involves assembling magnet test stands, power racks, cryogenic plumbing, vacuum systems, and custom fixtures; wiring, soldering, and installing sensors; operating DAQ and measurement equipment; running experiments; maintaining cryostats and vacuum systems; organizing the lab; and debugging hardware with engineers. Candidates need at least two years of hands-on hardware R&D, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, electronics, or related experience, along with tool and instrumentation skills and the ability to read technical documentation. The position offers $100,000–$160,000 in base salary plus 0.1–0.25% equity.
