Solcoa is hiring R&D Technicians to build, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment for its rare-earth metal production process. The role involves assembling experimental hardware, operating high-temperature and vacuum systems, executing test plans with engineers, diagnosing equipment problems, performing basic fabrication and machining, documenting changes, and maintaining safe working practices. Candidates need hands-on fabrication experience, experience with high-temperature or vacuum systems, mechanical aptitude, and strong documentation and safety practices; experience with reactors or vacuum subsystems, CAD, and chemistry or physics coursework is preferred.
