ABB is hiring a hybrid R&D Test Engineer in Bloomfield, Connecticut, to support the Electrification, Smart Buildings Division. The role leads prototyping, testing, certification, cost-out, and product-quality baseline programs; coordinates sample builds and testing with manufacturing, vendors, internal teams, and third-party certifiers; develops test plans and analyzes test data; and provides feedback to design teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, at least three years of testing or related experience, and U.S. work authorization. The expected annual salary is $68,600 to $109,760, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
