Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Verification & Qualification Engineer in Heimstetten, Germany, to lead FMECA-based risk assessments and translate identified risks into verification and qualification plans for electron-optical modules. The role executes or coordinates testing, ensures traceable evidence of requirement compliance, supports manufacturability and industrial readiness, and collaborates with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field and experience with R&D, verification, qualification, or risk-driven productization are required; experience with electron microscopy, vacuum systems, reliability engineering, or cleanroom practices is preferred.
