Description
The R1 Assistant Chief Engineer plans and executes station and studio installations, manages project timelines and budgets, troubleshoots broadcast and IT systems, maintains transmitters and studio equipment, coordinates contractors and regulatory compliance, and supports network and desktop operations. The role requires knowledge of FCC rules, broadcast and electrical systems, automation, and telephone protocols, along with the ability to work independently, after hours, and on call for emergencies.
