Description
AWS Infrastructure Services is hiring a Rack Lifecycle Tech to work hands-on in data centers, installing, cabling, testing, documenting, handing off, and decommissioning racks. The role executes rack installations, structured fiber and copper cabling, OTDR and power testing, inventory and supply-chain support, CMDB/DCIM updates, and secure asset recovery, while following AWS standards, EHS procedures, and SOPs. It is an individual-contributor position with no people-management responsibilities and requires at least one year of computer networking and Linux experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
