Dalcom Engineering is hiring a Radar Systems Engineer to support radar science and technology efforts at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The role leads radar system architectures, software and hardware integration, requirements management, interface definition, design tradeoffs, performance and effectiveness measures, test and evaluation planning, verification and validation, and Integrated Product Teams. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline
Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of relevant experience
Experience applying systems engineering to ground- or air-based radar, communications, or RF systems
Experience developing, designing, allocating, and managing user and system-level requirements
Experience developing system architectures, evaluating design tradeoffs, balancing technical risks, and defining and assessing interfaces
Experience calculating measures of performance and measures of effectiveness
Experience overseeing verification and validation activities
Experience in test and evaluation planning
Systems engineering experience involving radar/RF software and hardware subsystems
Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in radar and/or other RF system design, development, engineering, testing, evaluation, and data analysis
Knowledge of object-oriented programming
Experience with MATLAB and C++ programming
Experience with DoD systems engineering processes and tools, including DOORS and DoDAF
Experience developing system architectures and frameworks
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work toward technical and project goals
