Description
The role directs the architecture and design of radio frequency systems and circuitry, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, frequency synthesizers, and related subsystems. It leads hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, testing, link analysis, requirements management, trade studies, and life-cycle cost, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis. The position also coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition or disciplinary actions. Basic qualifications include an electrical engineering or related degree, team leadership, project management, mission-system development or integration, earned-value techniques, and supplier management. The full-time salary range is $120,600 to $224,000, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, retirement matching, paid time off, and other benefits.
