Description
The position operates stationary and portable X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs, adjusts equipment settings, positions patients, performs image quality assurance and labeling, provides radiology-related patient care including preparation and IV contrast injection, and uses the Radiology Information System for scheduling and exam tracking. The role requires ARRT-related education and certification, a New York State radiologic technologist license or temporary permit for New York positions, teamwork with healthcare professionals, room cleaning and stocking, portable-equipment transport, emergency response, and availability for scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays.
