Description
The Radiologic Technologist prepares for and performs standard x-ray examinations using x-ray equipment, positions patients, and follows safety and shielding protocols. The role also includes blood draws, vital signs, medical history intake, medication injections and vaccines, room preparation, equipment maintenance, image review, and image storage. Candidates must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, hold current state licensure, and have current BLS certification; prior radiologic experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
