Description
The Radiologic Technologist reports to the Practice Manager and provides sincere care for guests while taking x-rays at the provider’s direction. They offer clinical support through communication and understanding guest needs. Responsibilities include taking initial and follow-up x-rays, guest hospitality, reducing anxiety, leading guest flow, applying safety techniques, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Core responsibilities involve facilitating guest flow, minimizing radiation, inputting CPT codes, ensuring radiology equipment operation, assisting with guest care, ensuring compliance, and maintaining professional knowledge. The technologist must be ARRT certified, obtain a Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist License, and exemplify proactive leadership and teamwork.
