Description
The Radiologic Technologist produces diagnostic radiographs of various anatomical parts and systems under the direction of a radiologist. The role includes patient assessment, consent and preparation, contrast administration, image acquisition, equipment setup and quality control, documentation, and coordination with scheduling, nursing, emergency care, and other departments. It requires completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology Program, current ARRT registry or qualification to obtain it within 90 days, BLS, and applicable state licenses; healthcare experience is preferred. The position may rotate shifts, require standby or on-call work, involve local travel between system locations, and includes a $20,000.00 sign-on bonus eligibility.
