Description
The Mobile Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging with portable radiographic equipment at skilled nursing facilities, long-term acute care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, assisted living facilities, and patient homes. Responsibilities include operating and calibrating equipment, explaining procedures, positioning patients, protecting patients from unnecessary radiation, documenting records, maintaining equipment, and safely operating a motor vehicle. The role requires an LMRT or ARRT program, clinical internship experience, certification exam progress, a valid radiology license where applicable, a driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 200+ miles per day. Day, night, part-time, and PRN shifts are available.
