Description
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiological examinations under general supervision, verifies patient identity and medical records, obtains medical histories, explains procedures, acquires and reviews images, documents findings, responds to emergencies, provides post-care instructions, participates in quality and process improvement, and educates residents and students. The role requires ARRT registration in Radiography, AHA BLS training, clinical and communication skills, technical equipment knowledge, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a complex hospital environment.
