Description
The Radiologic Technologist II performs diagnostic radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation, selects technical exposure factors according to protocols and ALARA principles, operates and troubleshoots radiology equipment, acquires and manipulates DR/DRX images in PACS, supports radiologists and patients, and may provide coverage in Radiology, Ambulatory Surgery, and Pain Clinic settings. The role also includes patient transport, sterile procedures, workflow and scheduling knowledge, staff orientation, supply and equipment maintenance, compliance with radiation safety, OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic policies, and CPR certification.
