Description
The Radiologic Technologist II performs diagnostic radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation, selects technical and exposure factors according to established protocols and ALARA principles, operates and troubleshoots radiology equipment, acquires and manipulates images in DR/DRX and PACS, supports patient transport and care, and assists physicians and radiologists. The role may provide coverage across Diagnostic Radiology, Ambulatory Surgery, and Pain Clinic settings, trains new staff, follows radiation, OSHA, HIPAA, and clinical safety standards, and requires ARRT registration, approved radiology education, and CPR certification.
