Description
The Radiology Technician (CRT) supports patient care by performing diagnostic x-rays, positioning patients, adjusting equipment, following technique charts, maintaining quality-control logs, reviewing dosimeter reports, assisting with examinations or minor surgeries, stocking supplies, maintaining instruments, and sterilizing equipment. The role also escorts patients, interviews them, measures vital signs, and documents information in patient charts. A high school diploma or GED is required, while a bachelor's degree, vocational or technical diploma, one year of outpatient clinical experience, and ARRT certification are preferred; Imaging CA Radiologic Tech (CRT) and valid Basic Life Support certification are required.
