Description
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiological examinations under general supervision, including verifying patient identity, reviewing medical records, obtaining histories, explaining procedures, acquiring and reviewing images, documenting exceptions, responding to emergencies, providing post-care instructions, participating in quality and process improvement, and educating residents and students. The role requires ARRT registration in Radiography, AHA BLS training, clinical and communication skills, technical equipment knowledge, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a complex hospital environment.
