Description
The Radiologic Technology Student assists with patient preparation, positioning, transporting, imaging study completion, supplies, documentation, and patient safety under direct and indirect supervision until competency is achieved. The role requires instruction from credentialed technologists, use of a Radiology Information System, accurate clinical documentation, confidentiality, and adherence to patient-care policies. It is intended for a first-year student actively attending an accredited radiologic technology program recognized by JRC-ARRT, JRC-DMS, CCAHEP, or CMA, with work typically performed in a clinical environment.
