Description
St. Tammany Health System is hiring a radiologic technologist to perform intraoperative imaging during surgical procedures. The role involves operating radiographic equipment safely, positioning patients, applying radiation protection, selecting technical factors for diagnostic-quality radiographs, tracking patient studies, and acquiring studies in the PAS system. The position works four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, requires an accredited radiologic technology program, current ARRT and LSRT licenses, two years of experience in an outpatient surgical facility or inpatient hospital, current ILCOR-course BLS certification, flexibility, patient-service skills, and the ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced healthcare environment.
