Description
NuScale Power is hiring a Senior Radiological Engineer to report to the Manager of Radiological Engineering and specialize in source terms, normal and accident dose analysis, atmospheric dispersion modeling, particle transport, reactor analysis, and shielding analysis for pressurized light-water reactors and primary systems. The role performs complex engineering calculations with industry-standard tools, leads technical assignments, coordinates with internal teams, represents the department, and mentors junior engineers. It requires a bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering or radiological health physics, at least five years of relevant experience, and at least two years of PWR or BWR design analysis experience with specified radiological software. The position is eligible for remote work within the contiguous United States when the employee resides more than 30 miles from a physical NuScale office, and the target pay range is $108,908 to $131,441 annually.
