Description
The Radiological Technologist performs radiological examinations and related patient-care duties in the Radiology department at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic in Garrison. Responsibilities include preparing patients, taking and processing digital radiographs, using radiation-protection materials, maintaining equipment and procedure rooms, preparing contrast media, logging procedures, and sending images through PACS. The role requires ARRT registration, Tennessee state licensure, current CPR certification, at least one year of customer-service experience in a healthcare setting, and graduation from an accredited X-ray technologist program; mammography experience is preferred. The position involves prolonged sitting and standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and exposure to radiation and communicable diseases.
