Description
The Radiologist Services Coordinator oversees daily clinical and operational workflow for a radiologist group. The role coordinates radiologist schedules and coverage, manages resident-related activities and processes, addresses radiology workflow issues, supports clinical documentation addendums, manages provider buckets and patient cases in Athena, maintains CME and credentialing records, produces operational metrics, handles billing questions, and acts as a liaison among radiologists, residents, technologists, and clinical leadership. It requires radiology or imaging workflow knowledge, healthcare operations experience, strong administrative and analytical skills, and one qualifying imaging-related certification.
