Description
The Radiology Technologist assists physicians and the in-charge Registered Nurse with basic patient care, performs vital-sign measurements, IV initiations, blood draws, and other bedside procedures, and operates x-ray and CT equipment to produce diagnostic images. The role also includes uploading images, reporting results, assisting with examinations and treatments, and performing crutch walking, dressing changes, and splint or cast application. Candidates need an associate degree or equivalent radiology technologist certification, at least two years of hospital or emergency-room experience, ARRT certification, CPR/BLS certification, and a current Texas radiology technologist license.
