Description
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiological exams under general supervision, verifies patient identity and medical history, explains procedures and risks, acquires and reviews images, documents findings, responds to medical emergencies, provides post-care instructions, and participates in quality and process-improvement activities. The role requires ARRT registration in Radiography, AHA BLS training, patient communication and clinical judgment, technical equipment knowledge, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a complex hospital environment.
