Description
The Radiologic Technologist operates X-ray equipment to produce radiographs, performs quality control and documentation, positions patients, transfers images to film and archival media, labels and keys patient information, and reports motor abnormalities to the radiologist. The role requires a vocational or technical school diploma, a current New York State Radiology Technologist license, current ARRT Radiology registration, and 1–3 years of technical experience. It is scheduled for weekday 8-hour shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Smithtown, Huntington, Babylon, and Bay Shore.
