Description
The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic radiology procedures under the direction of an authorized user, including obtaining patient histories, positioning and immobilizing patients, applying radiation-protection principles, operating imaging equipment, assisting with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, documenting care, and administering medications or contrast as prescribed. The role requires ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology and BLS, with preferred experience in radiation safety, patient care, radiology information systems, electronic health records, and PACS.
