Description
Michael Baker International is seeking a Rail Bridge Civil Associate to join its team in May 2027 and support Chicago, Omaha, or Cleveland offices. The role prepares structural calculations, bridge plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, and load-rating analyses for rail and transit projects; it may also involve superstructure and substructure design, retaining-wall design, CAD plan development, and field inspections. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, a passed Fundamentals of Engineering exam, 0–2 years of engineering experience, prior structural coursework, and CAD proficiency.
