Description
HDR is hiring a Rail Designer/EIT to support rail project managers and engineers with track and civil design plans, specifications, cost estimates, drainage, structural and utilities work, design criteria, project guides, meeting notes, and project controls. The role can involve independent work on small projects or assisting senior engineers on larger projects, with possible direction to clerical and technical personnel. A bachelor's degree, hands-on experience with MicroStation, InRoads, and GEOPAK-route design, Microsoft Office experience, and strong interest in railroad design are required; an EIT certificate is preferred, and local candidates are preferred.
