Description
King County Metro Transit is hiring multiple Rail Electrical Workers to perform skilled, journey-level high-voltage electrical work on Light Rail systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, upgrading, and testing overhead contact systems, traction substations, feeders, switches, relays, PLCs, cables, and related equipment in shops, tunnels, and other facilities. The role requires three years of high-voltage electrical maintenance experience, a Washington State Journey Electrician or Journey Level Line Worker certificate or equivalent, and a valid driver's license with a Class A or B CDL and air-brake endorsement. Work is performed in Seattle and Bellevue, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available, and pay ranges from $78.19 to $82.88 per hour.
