Description
Enviva is hiring a Bulk Cargo Loader to safely and efficiently load unpackaged bulk materials onto a vessel at a barge. The role operates loaders, cranes, and ship loaders; maintains load plans and cargo records; performs equipment inspections, rigging, basic mechanical troubleshooting, and maintenance work orders; and communicates with operations and ship crews. The position requires multiple and rotating shifts, outdoor work in extreme temperatures, work at heights and in confined spaces, and availability for evenings, weekends, and overnight issues. A high school diploma or GED, bulk-material-loading experience, maritime experience, and mechanical aptitude are preferred. The position is not eligible for visa support.
