Description
AECOM is hiring an experienced Civil Engineer to serve as Project Author / Project Director for national, regional, or local rail projects. The role leads multidisciplinary design teams, manages execution plans and project delivery, makes technical decisions on railway infrastructure, reviews designs and cost estimates, performs value engineering and quality control, oversees budgets, manages client and stakeholder relationships, and mentors junior engineers. The position requires a degree in Civil Engineering, more than 20 years of railway project experience, construction leadership experience, extensive infrastructure expertise, CAD and design-tool proficiency, familiarity with relevant codes and standards, Spanish communication skills, and flexibility to work in a hybrid environment.
