Description
S-Bahn Hamburg GmbH is seeking applicants for a career change into the role of rail traffic controller in Hamburg. The six-month full-time retraining program combines classroom and hands-on instruction, including work at a local signal box, and uses simulators and tablets. After training, the controller will set routes, monitor train traffic, coordinate safe and punctual operations, and communicate with signal-box colleagues, train drivers, and control centers. Applicants need vocational training in a technical, commercial, or skilled trades field, strong German skills, basic PC knowledge, shift availability, and proof of medical and psychological suitability.
