Description
The Rail Vehicle Workshop Mechanic keeps rail vehicles in service through regular inspections and repairs, handles general workshop activities such as material and work planning and lathe or grinding machine work, prepares and processes spare parts, and manages delivery, return, maintenance, disposal, and cleaning tasks. The role requires a completed technical apprenticeship, practical aptitude, general technical understanding, a Class B driver’s license, and preferably railway-sector experience. It is based in Etsdorf, offers long-term employment and flexible working time models, and provides a gross monthly salary starting from €3,057.65 based on 38.5 hours per week.
