Description
Rainmaker is hiring a Machine Learning Fellow for a paid, full-time, on-site research appointment in El Segundo. The fellow will work with a research lead or mentor on a scoped machine-learning project involving atmospheric observations, sensor data, forecasting, retrieval, or other scientific or operational problems. Responsibilities include translating research questions into measurable ML problems, building datasets, establishing baselines, training and evaluating models, quantifying uncertainty and failure modes, collaborating with atmospheric scientists, and delivering reusable artifacts. The fellowship is three-to-six months, with four months as the standard duration, rolling applications, and flexible start dates.
