Description
The Ground Operations Agent is responsible for safely boarding and disembarking passengers and luggage, marshalling aircraft, communicating with pilots, operations, ticket agents, TSA, and law enforcement, handling hazardous materials and emergency procedures, operating ground equipment, driving a passenger shuttle bus, and performing de-icing and baggage-weight duties. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, strong communication and customer-service abilities, flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds; airline work and reservation-system experience are preferred.
