Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Optical Metrology / Optical Testing Engineer in Singapore to support the setup and ramp of a next-generation semiconductor manufacturing line. The role involves transferring R&D processes and materials to pilot production, coordinating with engineering and operations teams, managing technology-transfer schedules and risks, training R&D transfer engineers, and supporting Optical Metrology and Optical Testing tool and process qualifications at the HVM site. The position requires semiconductor manufacturing knowledge, cross-timezone collaboration, discipline in delivering milestones, and travel between Southeast Asia and the United States up to 50% of the time.
