AWS is hiring a RAPP System Development Engineer to implement, operate, troubleshoot, and automate Route 53 and Perimeter Protection services for U.S. Government agencies. The role manages air-gapped systems, maintains 100% uptime, investigates operational defects, and uses software and infrastructure-as-code tools to improve reliability and scale. Candidates need an associate's degree or above, programming experience, automation experience, and an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph; Python and distributed-systems experience are preferred. The position is based in Denver, Jessup, Arlington, or Herndon, with a base salary of $99,000 to $160,000 annually.
