Description
The Patient Account Representative answers inbound calls about patient-accounting questions, resolves issues through first-call resolution, escalates unresolved matters, and may make outbound follow-up calls on outstanding accounts. The role requires strong customer-service, problem-solving, listening, and communication skills, along with knowledge of managed-care reimbursement concepts. A high school education or equivalent and 1–2 years of inbound call-center or customer-service experience are required; hospital patient-account billing and third-party reimbursement knowledge are preferred. Compensation is $15.80–$23.70 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) match among the benefits.
