Description

The R&D Manager leads and mentors a specialized engineering team responsible for the architecture, design, development, and validation of next-generation AI server and rack infrastructure. The role covers high-performance hardware architecture, high-density power delivery, liquid cooling, signal and power integrity, reliability, and full hardware lifecycle validation, while partnering with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, NPI, customer, and supplier teams. The position requires a relevant bachelor’s degree and 4–7 years of high-performance server or computing hardware architecture experience, along with experience in AI-specific power and thermal infrastructure, hardware validation, and engineering leadership.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related field
Required Previous Experiences: 4–7 years of experience in high-performance server, rack, or computing hardware architecture and system design
3+ years of experience with AI-specific power and thermal infrastructure
4+ years of experience across EVT, DVT, and PVT, including root-cause failure analysis and risk management
3–5 years of experience leading engineering teams and managing technical priorities
Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience implementing DFM, DFT, DFC, and other Design for X principles
Experience working with hyperscalers, Tier-1 customers, or strategic technology suppliers
