Description
The Material Handler performs shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order-fulfillment tasks for merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. The role includes checking received goods against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records, rejecting unsatisfactory items, packaging products, posting shipping charges, and stocking and distributing inventory. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalency, the ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and may involve forklift operation. It has no supervisory responsibilities.
